Aspiring Bakers #17: March Macaron Madness!!! Giveaway Results
This is gonna be a short post. As promised in the opening of Aspiring Bakers #17 – March Macaron Madness! (Mar 2012) exactly a month back, I would be giving out two copies of Chef Jose Marechal’s “Secrets of Macarons to two of the participants of the events. So swiftly the month went by and during the roundup, we received a whooping 48 entries from all over the world, from Malaysia to Perth and even Seattle! So who won the two books? Click on to find out!
The recipients of the two copies were selected by a random number generator. With all the partcipants numbered up accordingly in the roundup post, the following two Aspiring Bakers were generated.
First to be selected was (41) My Maiden Macaron Attempt – Matcha Macaron by Angel of Cook.Bake.Love
And in quick succession, the second recipient selected was (19) My Very First Macarons – Chocolate Macarons by Alice from I Love.I Cook.I Bake
And its so uncanny that both of these wonderful ladies made macarons for the very first time this month for the Aspiring Bakers event! What was even more uncanny was how similar their blog names turned out to be. And what spooked me out was both their names start with “A” … ok ok, I’m pushing it a lil’ here. LOL
Nonetheless, congratulations to the two recipients of the books. Kindly email me your details so that I could arrange for the books to be mailed to you!
And once again, a very very big thank you to everyone’s partcipation and support in all possible ways to make the event a success!
Happy macaroning!
I love macaron…
